Levi's LVC 1880 Knappave Waist Overalls 32/32 used

Presented today at Union Dry Goods is this pair of pre-owned Knappave of Levi's Vintage Clothing. It briefly describes how the Waist Overalls look like in the old day Nevada Gold Mines. Design based on the legendary Nevada 1880, Knappave has an identical cutting and features except there is no factory made wear and fade.

Like all other replica models before 1922, Knappave features the following details:
1. Exposed rivets
2. Single right back pocket
3. Cinchback
4. Patented Leather patch signifying its production time before 1886
5. Sewn suspender buttons
6. Baggy cutting
7. Front pockets made of same fabric as the pants, rather than using oil cloth as material
8. And... the characteristic left thigh tool pocket

The item for sale has been with cold water washing 3 times including the first-time soak. However Union Dry Goods find the LVC shrinkage was notoriously inaccurate. After all these subsequent washes within 3 years of use, the actual waist measures as much as 34 inches.

Do you care about inaccuracy? What we care about instead is the fact that we only have this pair in stock, meaning there is only one lucky buyer is able to bring this Knappave home. As long as the size is wearable, any denim fans should make up their minds knowing what decision is about to make.

Where's it gone?

The leather patch disappeared...

Removed intensionally by the Japanese LVC designer team for creating a specific distressed mood, this pair of Circa 1886/1890 waist overalls is truly an honest replica of the work pants for a gold miner of the era. Nice washing effect observed. Suspender buttons, cinchback, buttonfly, single back pocket and "Patented LS&CO. SF" rivets are all well presented in this 125 Years' Anniversary Edition LVC. Now available at Union Dry Goods.
