Where's it gone?

The leather patch disappeared...

Removed intensionally by the Japanese LVC designer team for creating a specific distressed mood, this pair of Circa 1886/1890 waist overalls is truly an honest replica of the work pants for a gold miner of the era. Nice washing effect observed. Suspender buttons, cinchback, buttonfly, single back pocket and "Patented LS&CO. SF" rivets are all well presented in this 125 Years' Anniversary Edition LVC. Now available at Union Dry Goods.

Levi's Vintage Clothing LVC Japan 1933 Lot 501XX

Japan is no doubt one of the biggest exporter of finest denim in the world. Japanese denim manufacturers are devoted in the developing new ways of fabric improvement and weathering. LVC Japan being the leader in the industry has never stopped its pace. Replicas of the antiques have been presented in different kind of washes to reflect the mood or scenerio of the old days.

This is the second pair of LVC Japan 1933 we have. The last one has been sold with a happy ending, our buyer received tons of compliment around since he started to use it. The denim comes with factory made but natural like whiskers and fade. Looks authentically beautiful.

Now Union Dry Goods brings the second pair to our customers again. Don't miss it because it's something not come up often!

Levi's Vintage Clothing LVC banner in Union Dry Goods updated

Our latest store banner for LVC products. Highlighting the operation of shuttle looms in an old garment factory, we'd like to bring this important message to all our cutomers' attention - the best is always brought by hard laboring and time-consuming craftmanship.

Levi's Vintage Clothing LVC 1920's Distressed Corduroy Chino color Gray

LVC Japan manufactures this pair of cord chino with a distressed wash which is a big added value to the item. Normal use of cord pants is difficult to develop crease fade or whiskers, like in the case of duck canvas.

This pair of cord jeans is pre-owned but kept like a deadstock new. Any user can wear it with a big smile on his face. Corduroy material is limited to dry-cleaning only so don't bother the shrinkage. It fits very well those big and talls.
Waist: 35 inches
Inseam: 29.5 inches
Front rise: 11.5 inches
Leg opens: 17 inches

Levi's Vintage Clothing LVC 1922 Lot 501XX by LVC Japan

In 1922, LS&CO. added beltloops to its overalls, retained suspender buttons and cinch were still in use in the pants. This move was in response to the changes in Men's fashion and the company's understanding on what customers want.

The change signifed overalls step into an era of "more convenient to use". Users are free to choose suspenders or belts or simply without both in company with their overalls.

LVC Japan re-issued the 1922 Lot 501XX washed edition to memorize this milestone. The pants feature everything a 1922 model should include. The leather patch is made of buckskin. Zinc button fly is used.

Union Dry Goods brings you this pair of 22501 today, it means you are able to show it off to your friends anytime before Christmas and become the envy of your peer group!

Levi's Vintage Clothing LVC Circa 1873 Duck Canvas Hunting Jacket

Not every denim store is able to offer customers the duck products of LVC, let alone 2 different generations of the early duck jackets at the same time. Union Dry Goods made it.

We have presented last month a 1873 Duck Canvas Work Jacket, and this November, an even more beautiful duck hunting jacket by LVC Japan is listed in Union Dry Goods. The official serial number dictated this item year 1874. Well... it's actually something unimportant, that's why we just simplify it as circa 1873 to help customers memorize it.

A big question mark suddenly flash into our mind. If we were the buyer, what should we do and how do we choose between the 2 nice jackets. Good question! Our point of view is simple. For collectors or end users, the best thing to do is buy both and compare them in detail, because they won't appear in market again shortly.

Levi's Vintage Clothing LVC auction list, week 2012/10/28

Nobody else dares to claim a complete portfolio of Levi's Vintage Clothing LVC without the existence of early duck overalls in it. The very first replica represents a 1873 model. The pair we have for this week, on the other hand, has its design based on the famous 1880 Knappave with an additional left tool pocket available.

Should be much more accurate to call it the 1922 Lot 201 because belt loops were only added to any LS&CO. bottoms after the year 1922... Anyway, it's a nice pair of denim of the family No.2. Characteristic white oil-cloth patch, black-coated suspender buttons, baggy cut - all reflecting the toughness of the denim and the working class of the era!
