In 1922, LS&CO. added beltloops to its overalls, retained suspender buttons and cinch were still in use in the pants. This move was in response to the changes in Men's fashion and the company's understanding on what customers want.
The change signifed overalls step into an era of "more convenient to use". Users are free to choose suspenders or belts or simply without both in company with their overalls.
LVC Japan re-issued the 1922 Lot 501XX washed edition to memorize this milestone. The pants feature everything a 1922 model should include. The leather patch is made of buckskin. Zinc button fly is used.
